Is it possible? Yes, any system can be broken into given enough time and resources. Is it likely? No. Companies such as Live Scan pay a premium to keep their networks and buildings as secure as possible. However no company is perfect. A hacker could use social engineering to get someone to send them data. A security engineer could leave a hole in a firewall by accident (not real likely though). A hacker could break into the building and physically steal the servers (this has happened at a couple of data centers in the last couple of years, again not real likely though). according to my concern if we use the live scan , we have to be careful about other permiance, we can omit the chance of hacking by using the motion sensors along with it which could give the clear indication of someone penetrating into the desired domain.
