Hi Guys, Does anyone know of a good Linux routing solution I need to do the following: network 1 ----> Linux router ---Network 2 ---> ISP switch However, I cannot add a route on the ISP switch due to restrictions. Im hoping proxy arp with be the solution however, I dont know much about it and am looking for an easy solution.. I have tried monowall, however, it could not allow me to remote to it, could even ping it so guess it was a network card driver issue.. I tried zeroshell, connected up the network1 and network2 however had to add manuel route for network2 in order for it to reply but I dont want to add a manuel route to all 200 clients... Im told Proxy arp when installed and setup will respond to any network1 requests... I tried redwall linux seems to be able to ping the router but nothing outside the router.. soemthing blocking it and cannot find out what,...... anyone have any ideas of any others I could use that can do the job or what i can do for a solution.... thanks hoping for free solution.
