Problem with installing Linux Puppy 5.2.8

I'm trying to install puppy 5.2.8 @ performing root switch to the layered filesystem I get kernel panic not syncing attempted to kill. Any suggestions welcome.

    U did not declare here, where u want to install it, in ur pc/ flash drive ! Did u use unetbootin to install it ! that I am not sure. At which point did it get errors.... Is this error happened after this line like: "Loading personal file /lupusave.2fs (sda1)... done"
    All guessing, however, for ur info, p
    uppy 5.2.8 looks for any save file stored anywhere on ur pc.
    Though it is not a proper solution, however, u can try like
    when ur pc starts booting thru puppy press f2 & disable the startup of wind X server
    and after that issue a command like:   xwin
    If u want may execute command for starting the xorg conf thru a command like:
    xorgwizard

    Remember, sometimes it may require to supply these commands twice for it to work.
    This is my guessing, just u can try.
