I have recently upgraded my old Linksys router, for a brand new Linksys EA6500 router. I have a fairly large home and many devices needing to be supported. I have the highest speed modem that my internet provider offers to be compatible with my new router. I would not consider myself to be "tech savvy", but I am not a moron and I have been learning a considerable amount over the past few years. Anyway, this router seems to be legit, however I do not think that I am using it to its full potential. Also, I feel as though I am not getting the range from this router that I was expecting. I would also like to know the best way to utilize the dual band, like what devices should be connected to which frequency? How can i get more range out of this device? I will add that I do have a Verizon wireless network extender that is also connected to my router. it would be great if someone could just school me on the goodness of this router so that I can maximize my internet surfing experiences. Thanks for your help.
