Hello I want to link two office which are aprox 200 Meters apart. Their is a Main road betwenn the two buildings, so we can't even run any wire accross the two building. Whats will be the best, cheap and effective way to interlink 2 offices. What can be the max speed i can attain ? I dont want to use VPN as their will be 30-60 students in building B which will be accesing the server in building in A for Floating Licence Valadiation. I.e. we have Autocad, and Master cam in Building A, with Licence manager on the server in building A. We have floating licence so we can use the auto cad on n no of machin an ay time. My Main purpose is to to use the same licence in the other building also BUILDING B. So that student in Building B also can use the Autocad and Master Cam. Please advice. Thanks

that ok, but what kind of switch and antena i can used. I have measured the distance and it is less than 100 meters.
so please advice which is the best acceespoint and antena i can used.
It is at line of sight
100 meters can be easily covered by any directional antenna setup. 9bBi is a safe choice.
A Cisco 1400 Wireless Bridge is a reliable choice for access points, but the access point that you choose should be one that you are the most comfortable with.
If you can pay the extra money for it, you should go with 802.11n for a scalable and fast connection between buildings.
