I am attempting to create links in a sharepoint site that will launch databases in the Notes Client. The link works fine if the Notes client is not opened. However, if the client is already open the link seems to do nothing at all. Any one have an idea of how to fix this. I am using this syntax for the link notes://server/database

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Using notes:// will try to open a Notes database client.

Example
“notes://servername//foldername/filename.nsf”

NOTE: only use the single forward slash at the file name bit.
If it’s a local file with no server use
“notes:////foldername/filename.nsf”

If you want to use the HTTP URL, test telnet SERVER 80
PORT 80 is the web port.

Try a few different server names

Does it truly do nothing, or is the document open in Notes, but hidden behind the browser window? I've seen that happen. I don't think I can be more help than that. The syntax is correct.
