Limit Port 80 Time_Wait from my computer to router
How can I limit the number of requests my computer makes to my router to port 80. At idle, when looking at the connection page of my router I see a hundred or so port 80 Time_Wait from my computer address (say 192.168.1.145) to my routers address (say 192.168.1.1).This has just started probably from some program I installed. I removed all the programs that I have installed, 3 of them, (speed connected), but it didn't help. I guess it removed the programs but didn't remove the settings. Anyway, i use to have only about 3-4 of these type connection now, like I said, 100"s of them. I already tried the reset TCP Rules. Any help appreciated....

Is it causing a problem?

I assume you’re running Windows since this is relatively common for Windows. If the connections aren’t being established by some form of malware, and there’s no visible problem in the operation of your system, there shouldn’t be anything you need to do.
