Q:
Limiting email size sent to Windows Mobile devices via Exchange 2007
Hi All
we are using exchange2007 SP1
is there a way to set the limit of the email that will be downloaded by default to a windows mobile device for example for 200k , and only if the user want to see the rest of the email he needs to press an icon or alike saying download more (something like being done today with blackberry server)

thanks in advance,
Haim Chibotero

You can limit the message size in your active synch policy on the client access server. But I can tell you I currently have no limits in my exchange policy and on my mobile device it only shows so much of a message and I am prompted to download the rest now just like you are asking be done. I have not set the limit for devices using the exchange policy before so I do not know if it sets a hard limit and will not allow the download of the rest or not.
