Answer Wiki:
The job description attached to the user profile has a spot to enter an initial library list (INLLIBL). This library list is the list assigned to your job upon log in to a 5250 session. Any changes you make to the library list from that point on in the job are not saved. If you need to save these changes, you can create a new command that you use in place of the SIGNOFF command that takes your current library list and updates the job description before signing off the system.
