One of my HellDesk monkeys got on the horn with Lexmark for me (I think he wants a promotion):
1.) Turn the printer off.
2.) Hold numbers 2 and 6.
3.) Turn the power on.
5.) Wait some more. You’re still holding 2 and 6, mind you.
6.) Finally you’ll get a menu of things to reset/”restore.” Release 2 and 6 now (at last). Restore Factory, and under that Restore Network.
7.) If you aren’t using DHCP, you’ll probably have to go in and re-input these settings, and re-set the password if your problem is a forgotten password. But at least now you CAN change this stuff.
