Letterheads, Headers, Footers

I have a document which i have copyed and pasted onto our letterhead. Now the header and footer has come up on every page. I only wish to have this on the first page. When i delete them on page 2 - 6 the header/footer from every page disappears. HELP

Just follow this step to remove second page header and footer….

1) Click View, Header/Footer.
2) On Header/Footer toolbar click the icon for Page Setup.
3) Click Layout tab and select the option Different first page in window to turn on
check box.
4) click OK.
5) Type in the information on your first page header and
footer.
6) They won’t appear on the second and subsequent pages.
7) If you want different information on second or subsequent headers/footers, once the second page is created double click in the header or footer area on the first page
and then scroll down to the second page and create the second and subsequent
page header, switch to footer and do the same.

    Already tried this but we have letterhead already done. I only copied and pasted my document onto it. Surely there is a simple way of deleting letterhead off every other page. I wont it on page 1.

    click View > Header and Footer, then delete the letterhead.

    But first you will probably need to insert a section break so the header for Section 1 can remain while the header for all other pages can be deleted.
