 LAZY WRITER Process
Hi, We have Database production server with following configuration: Model: HP DL 585 G5 RAM: 64 GB Processors: Intel Xeon (R) CPU E7320 @ 2.13 GHz (16 processors) OS: Windows 2003 Server R2, SP2 SQL Server 2005 with SP2 LAZY WRITER 16 Process is running continuously, daily we will have to restart the sql server if we have not restart the sql server, server is hangs and it is going to blue screen dump. How to resolve this problem could you please guide me ? Regards Sekhar.K

SPID 16 is usually the system Check Point process. What build are you running? Some of the older builds have a known problem where the check point process will run none stop and bring the system down. What's the error when the machine blue screens?
