		<description><![CDATA[Remember--- when using Layer 3 devices do not use the default gateway command... use your default route to the next Layer 3 device in your network. example: 

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.50.100.1 

This way your L3 device can get to it&#039;s gateway (next hop). And in doing so you will be able to manage the L3 Switch.]]></description>
