I have some legacy machines with RS-232 ports, through which they can output statistics (with 9600 bps & 8E1 settings). How can I make my laptop to emulate this kind of a printer?

Mickeysoft XP

OK. I can get one of the USB-serial port converters. How to go on from there - what program to use to emulate the printer?
