Why does my laptop battery keep draining?

I've had my laptop for roughly three years now and I upgraded to Windows 10 too. Whenever I unplug my laptop from the charger, it dies after 5 minutes. But the laptop looks like it's still on (the power button is flashing green). So I click that and it goes back on, but it only has 10% battery remaining. What should I do here?

It sounds like you need a new battery. You might reach out to Toshiba to see if they have any suggestions. Most of my laptop batteries are only good for a few years and then they start behaving in odd ways such as this.

Three years old, so probably the laptop is not under warranty. And perhaps the battery is not in good condition, that can take charge fully. Though it is not under warranty (guessing) still you can contact manufacturer's service center for more help. Ask them and if they suggest you can replace battery.
