 LAN tester reading
LAN
1.while testing a straight cable(twisted pair),LED at 7 number on both ends of cable did not glow in LAN tester reading.Does it create any difference in working of straight cable?What if reading occurs with cross cable?

did you try with other cables? it will be better if all will light up when testing the cable.

If you have any reservations about the tester, try another one on the same cable.

As it is a cable tester, I would have thought that it meant that pin 7 wasn’t connected properly. Cut the plugs off and re-terminate.
