hey guys,
i have a small office at home with 5 pc's. i was wondering if it would be possible to setup a local email/calendar where the 5 pc's can send/receive email and see a common calendar internally without using the internet..what do you think would be the best solution/software for that. I would really appreciate the help...thanks in advance

Need more information, what OS are you using, how do you recieve your email now (is there an exchange server in the mix?? Sharing calendars is easy with Outlook 2003 and exchange 2003. I would guess you don’t have an exchange server since these are on a workgroup. If you are running Outlook Xpress, you may have to add each individual user to every machine where the calendars need to be shared. Since there is no domain, this will authenticate the user to the share.
kindly elaborate the equipment to be used other than the lan cards installed in pcs…….
