 Kronos
I have Kronos application installed on a production 525 its been requested that I implement the same environment on a training 525. Do I just lay the current libraries on the box or do I have to perform the install from scratch?

I dont think just copying the current libraries from the test server to the production server will make it run. You have to perform the install from the scratch.

Different products work in different ways. But most often, the install code for a product will create objects such as user profiles, authorization lists, etc., that cannot exist in product libraries. Restoring libraries will miss all of those.

Install code might add entries to the system registration facility. Or application function usage might be registered. Or IFS directories might be created (with streamfiles).

It’s possible to distribute an application that can be wholly contained within a library or a set of known libraries. But it would be very unusual.
