I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this question but I'm out of ideas.
We have a Konica Minolta Bizhub di1610 printer. This printer doesn't have a built in NIC so we used an Axis Communications Network Print Server connected to the parallel port to get it on the network. It works fine when people print on normal paper, but every time someone tries to print on legal size paper the printer stops working. The print job seems to get stuck in the network print server's internal queue. No one can print to the printer again until you open a browser, connect to the network print server and restart it (or pull the plug).
I don't know if it gets stuck because of an issue with the print server, or if it gets stuck because the printer doesn't like what's being sent to it. We don't have the manual for this printer. The Konica website has a manual but it is in Chinese.
I need to know if this is an issue with the printer or with the network print server and how to fix it.
