 keys not responding on as400
AS/400, function key available, X II
from time to time as400 locks out and when i try to log back in the is and X II atthe bottom left of the screen and i can enter my user name or password, the message comes up saying function key not available, the only solution i have found is rebooting the computer, any one have any other solutions?

First, what emulator program are you running? Next, what PC operating system are you running? Finally, what is the operating system version/release on your AS/400?

If you are running System i Access and using the emulator from it, then version of System i Access are you using and what service pack level is it at? On Windows, you can drill into the Start-> Programs menu to get to the System i Access Properties function. You will see the information on the first panel.
