Hello, So, I write a ton of documents in Microsoft Word 2016. In those documents, I usually write in different languages (depends on the client) so here's the issue. When I start typing in English, it's in the default Calibri font. But when I switch the language, it automatically goes to Times New Roman. How can I keep it to the default font? Thanks!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It may be that certain fonts will not support the special characters and punctuation needed for the language in question. How are you switching/selecting the language? Are there mixed languages on the same document? Your best bae may be to create a custom template. If that does not solve it, you may need a separate template for each language.

Keep in mind either the Set by Default button clicked definitely when you have done setting default font settings. Open a document in word. Now click Home tab. Under the fonts section, click expand button. This opens the font settings window. Now select font whatever you wish depending on word's supports. Now click Set as Default button in the bottom left corner. Now check all documents based on the template. Click OK.
