I am having update issues in Kaspersky internet security 2012. My update starts
and it quickly reaches to 15%, download size=142kb but then it stops at 15% for half an hour and
finally the messages arrives that network connection has timed out. This is only
happening with Kaspersky product. My Internet connection is working absolutely
fine. Other downloads are done properly. I am using Virgin vFlash wireless
connection device for internet.
I bought my product from Nehru Place New
Delhi, India on September 3, 2011.

how about trying to use a LAN to update your antivirus?
Yeah I would have to agree with Jinteik..
Kaspersky have quite a big massive Download updates and I havent come across
problems updating via LAN…
It seems as though the update is too big for your WIRELESS..(depending what speed it holds)
try LAN, see whats the difference..
When I used Kaspersky a few years ago (using Vipre now at a new job now so have not used it in a while) but they had outstanding support, and rarely did I need to go beyond the online chat to ge the issue resolved.
Am having the same issue here in the UK. Exact same stopping point too! Have checked firewall and is the Kaspersky firewall which is switched on. Cannot change this over to windows firewall. Also, quite a windows type user so help has to be simple! Whilst it says I have an active internet connection, neither IE nor Firefox will connect to ANY website either. Am using friend’s laptop to even find this discussion! Please help!
Jinteik advise is good, at least u can try and see the results, by the way u can also try to ping the Kaspersky site (50.58.197.30) with -t option and see whether there is any time out. also note the ttl and ms.
Same problem at 15% in the UK. Disabled firewall and update is now at 55% after about 5 mins. I don’t have time to check the firewall issues now but at least it’s updating

I bought my product fromSoftware/Hardware used : OS WINDOWS 7
Maybe you should try to re-install software, it might have some corrupted data,or you can change Kaspersky download server to your local, it might help.
