I have some JRNRCV as QACGJRxxxx which is detach and saved.Can I delete these jrnrcv wihtout have a negative impact on my system ?

Iseries platform.

Absolutely.
The only use they have is if you need to go back and look at some of the data from theose receivers at a later time. You would need to restore them to do that.

    You would need to restore them to do that. To clarify, you'd need to restore them if they'd been deleted (and you wanted to look at the entries). Tom

    As part of my clean up maintenance of our as400 server, the journal recievers in QGPL are the first to go as long as i already performed a monthly backup on these, i just retain 1 month equivalent of previous journal receivers in QGPL and the rests are deleted. If there's a need to restore any older journal recievers, i have a manual control to identify which tape to use to restore these JRNRCV files.
