No. That&#039;s not where &quot;job history&quot; is logged.

You can certainly gather a lot of information about a job by viewing each journal entry for a given job. I suppose that a system with auditing fully enabled, job accounting active, database and IFS auditing enabled and maybe a few other things, could pretty well recreate everything that happened in a job.

It&#039;s far simpler just to spool joblogs. They can also be left in a &#039;pending&#039; state and only spooled on demand. Those should probably be purged after some reasonable time.
