JCAD?


JCAD, Java, CAD, Java CAD

I have been asked to find out more info on JCAD. Is JCAD the same as "java CAD"? And if so, what are the differences? Is it just the fact that it is using a different language? What would be the use for using JCAD over traditional C/C++ CAD?
I know - lots of questions but I have no idea. Thanks for your help.
