    WHAT I DO NOW?

You fix whatever causes the error. We have no way to know how you do that. We don't know what is in your .JAR file; we don't know how you tried to run it; we don't know what you're running it on nor what OS is involved; and we don't know what errors you're seeing. We don't even know if you have an environment that can run Java. There is no help we can give without a lot more information.

From your question, it sounds like what you should do is enroll in a class that teaches Java.

    Tom

Jar is an executable file in Java language. Jar file can run on multiple OS provided proper JRE is installed in the system. However, u mentioned here CMD, so I am guessing it is a Windows OS, that u want to run. Well, Have u included the main method which starts like "public static void main() with proper string value !! That must be ensure by u. Every core java program should start from main method other than applet. Check ur program minutely and compile step by step.

We don't even know if that is a JAR from a program you developed, or it is an application from someone else.

    Much more information is needed.
