I completely understand your frustration, and apologize for the spam. We go through the site regularly and do our best to delete it as quickly as we see it, but, particularly on Monday mornings, we have a backlog.
We should have an upgrade come out over the next several weeks that helps us better manage the problem even as spam attacks increase.
The Edit My Account problems, which, yes, have been an issue for a long, long time, should be completely resolved later this month with an upgrade.
I’ll look into your alerts problem now and try and figure out what’s going wrong. We’ve had a number of users lose alerts updates, but have been generally able to get them working again.
What is worse now about the blog roll page? We did some updates so that it shows the most relevant, new posts, but if you were using it in another way, we’d like to make sure it’s easy to connect with the writers you’re interested in.
