    Hi shyann, still having problems? Which device are we talking about? Does it really do nothing or can´t you just turn it off? You probably should backup your important files first, if you haven´t yet. There should be a hardware reset button, but in some cases it might suffice to just press the on/off button for 20 or 30 seconds...any reactions?

    If it is a smartphone/mobile with android os, to turn off open the back cover and pull out the battery. clean dust inside there, if any, then again insert the battery into same place. Now switch on ur mobile. If u r not comfortable to do that, better to carry it to a good service center to resolve this matter.

    Well most Android devices nowadays don´t have a replacable battery any more, so that might not work for all smartphones. The retailer you bought it should be your first contact for any help, unless you´re out of warranty, in that case I would recommend to contact the manufacturer...
