I?m not sure if these numbers are still available. But, I?m looking for the ROI from IT (i.e. benefits from automation). I could use indirect benefits and cost reduction numbers and/or the direct benefits and cost reduction numbers. The numbers or averages, if possible need to reflect IT overall and not specific to any tool, product or technology. It would be great to get the national average for the Healthcare industry, but any industry, any region will do.

Example: Healthcare organizations through automation on average have experiences a ??%? in process improvements (productivity), with an overall reduction in processing costs of ??%?.

I remember seeing some stats on the web awhile back; but when I tried to find them again, I came up empty.
