		<description>Java is a language that is used in a lot of today's technology, so saying you're at least familiar with it is a huge resume booster. Also, a working knowledge of Java could be of use in a diagnostic sense as well, depending on what sort of networking your doing. Frankly, it couldn't hurt to have a Java background.</description>

		<description>I agree with Mshen; there are fields in which you will probably not need it, but based in my experience, it is always good to have some programming skills, and I think Java is a good option, since it can be used in a variety of environments.</description>
