That is a very broad question.  Like, what area of IT, consulting, printers, selling, repair, things like that.  If you have any experience in the field, then I would suggest that you focus on your strong suite.  From there, once you are established, then you might try to branch out.  Also, keep up on your certifications, especially if you are considering the consulting field.  You need to be up on all the latest and greatest technology out there.  Just an after thought, if you are going into the security field, search the Internet for different sites, and there are many, look them over and subscribe to some of their newsletters.  You will learn a lot.  Good luck
