VS2012 needs to be run as administrator, so I’ve created a shortcut called 'run as administrator'.

However when I double click any of these files (.cpp, .cs, etc.) VS2012 loads in 'User Mode', and then I cannot save files, cannot launch when debugging, etc., and other types of problems.

Is there any solution?

I tried to mark 'devenv.exe' in C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0Common7IDE to 'run as administrator' but this throws the error

'There was a problem sending the command to the program'
