Issue with the “Warning, Capacity Exceeded” message

I'm using R6. When scheduling a meeting, if the participant number exceeds the room capacity, I receive confirmation that the room was reserved for the meeting. I then invite the various attendees - most of whom will be attending by phone. The "Warning, Capacity Exceeded" message is sent. Will the room still show up as booked if the warning is ignored? Is there a way to override the "capacity" issue when scheduling rooms? Thanks in advance for your help, Wes

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I assume you are using a resource reservation database. Can you reserve the room by going into the resource res. database directly and send out a meeting invitation with the room name in the Location Field of the meeting document, separately.

In Domino 5, if you requested to reserve a room, and exceeded the capacity, the room declined. In R6, you get a warning, but the room is still booked. Atendees do not see any warnings and receive a normal invite. The capacity warning is there to 'advise' the person reserving of the physical limitations for the room. If you want to eliminate the warning, you need to do some code changes.
