 iSeries print usage
All of our network printing goes to a Novell print server, and we use a piece of Novell software called iPrint to track that usage. We need to track the iSeries printing that is done on network printers in the same way. We're not even sure that it's possible, but we're not ready to take no for an answer either. Any ideas?

Answer Wiki:
Hi, Have you think about AUDIT control (System value QAUDLVL with *PRTDTA)? There is other ways to control printer usage. You can attach a DtaQ to the OutQ and each time a spool is generated or released in the OutQ a special entry is generated in the DtaQ. With a program you can then read the DtaQ and get all data about the spool file that was printed. Regards, Wilson
