Does anyone know of a decent job thread analysis tool for the iSeries AJS job scheduler? We are trying to identify where there is 'slack' in our scheduled batch jobs and are currently faced with manually backtracking each job in the thread and looking up the scheduled and actual run times. With 1000's of jobs in the schedule this could take a while (and be VERY boring). All of the required data is on the AJS databse so we just need to get at it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Hello,

One place you can look for different ways to see each job and run reports is through the iSeries Navigator and select the Advanced Job Scheduler. Also, here is the website from IBM…
