iSeries Graphical System Debugger
Hello!
Can anyone help me with iSeries Graphical System Debugger?
I did install Graphical Debugger according to iSeries News (September 2004 issue)
article "Introduction to the iSeries Graphical System Debugger" by Vadim Berestetsky and Cary Bates
with no problems.
When I start debugger (with java -cp tes.jar;jt400.jar;jhall.jar utilities.DebugMgr command in command
prompt on my workstation) I need first add system, correct?
And this is the point when problem occurred, I fill up dialog box "Add System", and nothing occur.
All I have is message in Debugger: "<2005.01.05 16:18> Attempting connection to '<System Name>' (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).",
status in Debugger is "connecting..."
Our iSeries is on V5R2M0.
I appreciate any advice...

Hi,
A software engineer from Help/Systems sent us his suggestion for solving this problem:
"Ensure the DEBUG HUB is active on your system. If it is not active, enter the command STRTCPSVR *DBG to start the server."
