Backup and Recovery
My backup environment consists of a p630 running AIX and Tivoli Storage Manager. It is connected to an ADIC 2000 tape library. I can back up my iseries through BRMS/TSM but it is very slow. Is ther a way to back up directly to the tape library? Or is there a way to speed up the BRMS/Tivoli backup? How are others backing up an iseries to a non-IBM library?

First of all, need to know is the ADIC2k Library is connected to AS400 using other converter like any other software running from other platform which giving the translation between AS400 and the ADIC Library?
If yes, then the solution is backup up your data manually from AS400 command.
Is the fastest way.
Or PLease give detail information about control and Data Path then we can find another way

The ADIC2k is not attached to the AS/400 in any way.
