To be able to get the FTP to work, you need to start the FTP server. Use STRTCPSVR *FTP.

IBM has provided exit points to assist you to control who has access to use FTP. I have worked on systems where FTP access has been restricted to 2 people/user profiles. Check with your system administrator who may need to add you to the table of authorized FTP users. This would be a home grown application.]]></description>
