iSeries IPL, License error
system hanging at src code - c6004504 .....it was a attended ipl ...even though system is not come up .... any clues

I'm guessing you were doing this via the HMC? If it was shared, try starting another session as a work around.
I mention this because i've heard an occurance like this was a known issue with IBM. may have been a PTF.
