Just a minor note, but please consider replacing the use of actual IP addresses with host names. Just define the names in your system's hosts table with CFGTCP option 10. Once you've created useful host names, you can change the hosts entries when addresses change.

Much easier than going into *DEVDs or *OUTQ descriptions and changing IP addresses. More efficient, too, for most sites.

I'm sure you've already checked this but make sure the Host Print Transform is set to *YES in the device description. Also, make sure you select the Manufacturer Type and Model that is closest to the printer you are installing. If you cannot find the right driver, *HP4 is the way to go as I have been told in the past by IBM that this is pretty much a universal driver that can be used with all HP printers. Finally, make sure the *HPPJLDRV value is set in the System Driver Program field. One more thing, if you are controlling this printer using an AS/400 session in Client Access, you can go into the Printer Setup, click on Setup for the printer you want to use, and set the paper to landscape there.

Let me know how it turns out.
