I’ve been searching high and low and cannot find a way to disconnect with the iSeries using RPGLE / CGI. I have a security application that works very well. The login page is displayed by default and all is well. But I would like to add a "logout" button for web pages and display the login page again, instead of closing the browser. Is there an Application Programming Interface (API) that can be used to send the request disconnection? Any help?

QCMDEXEC API might help you in this Regard. Lets Consider, When you Press any Button(Function Key), You can call the QCMDEXEC API by passing the SIGNOFF command. Eg: /Free CmdString = 'SIGNOFF' ; CmdLength = %Len(%Trim(CmdString)) ; Callp QCMDEXEC(CmdString:CmdLength) ; /End-Free Pradeep.

...request disconnection? Before anyone is likely to have much to say about "disconnection", you need to provide a sufficient description of what you think is meant by "connection". Tom
