I have seen this on many computers. Spybot and Microsoft Anti-spyware are ussually very affective at removing this. However, here is a link that should remove it as well. http://toolbar.isearch.com/uninstall/

I concur with the SpyBot & Microsoft AntiSpyware which is what we use internally. We have found an occasional use for AdAware. Microsoft AntiSpyware seems to find things the other miss.

BEFORE you run those utilities it’s recommended to disable System Restore.

If you have any difficulty in removing the isearch toolbar, try booting in Safe Mode and rerun the (freshly updated) SpyBot/MAS/AdAware utilities.

You may also find it beneficial to check msconfig after the removal to ensure entries are not still lingering. Running HijackThis also is a good idea after the fact.

I have noticed that the “uninstall” links provided by the jacka$$e$ that make those utilities do not fully remove everything. There may be another app installed that they take no responsibility for.

Also you want to install ToolBarCop. It is a very usefull tool at removing unwanted tool bars. You can find it here

Very good tool, give it a try.
