I have set up an ISCSI storage on our network which is working very well. The question I would like to know is does the data that is sent to the ISCSI storage device route through the computer that does the ISCI initiation or does the data go directly from the work station to the ISCSI storage unit Regards Murray

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

The data will route first to the computer which does the iSCSI initiation then to the iSCSI storage unit.

Thank you for that info... So I guess to save the load on the server which does the initiation I should use another less critcal computer. Regards Murray
