Q:
iSCSI technology for Oracle Rac
Hello,
I'm looking for some information about Oracle Rac when the DB is running on iSCSI system like HP Lefthand or DELL EqualLogic system? This king of system storage seems very interesting in particular for the Disaster recovery site. If this configuration is existing, thank you to give me some information about your satisfaction (and users satisfaction) and details about your environment.

Thank's a lot

If you are going to spend the kind of money needed to get RAC running, don’t screw around with iSCSI. Use fibre channel. It’s faster, has quicker retries if something doesn’t get where its going, and its the gold standard for storage.
