 iSCSI SAN how many IP Addresses are needed?
We are planning to implement an iSCSI SAN. There are 4 controllers, each with 2 iSCSI ports. How many IP addresses are needed for the ISCSI SAN

I would say 1 for each LUN you have would make sense. My recommendation would be a minimum of one IP address for each controller in the SAN for a total of 4. If you had a fairly redundant network and could take advantage of MPIO then I would recommend two IP addresses per controller for a total of 8. This all depends on the SAN vendor you are using. So, both of our answers could be correct.
