 ISA and Firefox
Dear Sir. I have ISA 2004 and i create rule to deny users from access some websites but the Problem the Mozilla Firefox users can access all this sites , and I couldn't find a way to deny users from using firefox or to enforce firefox to use proxy server. Please tell me how to resolve this issue. Best Regards

Maybe these Firefox users have an alternative proxy or some other means of getting past the ISA server. They could be running an application called TOR that allows for http tunneling and the ISA server would never see the traffic destined for those denied websites.

Uninstall firefox and lower their rights on the box.

Make them power users so they can’t install programs and the like.

I just made a point about this too…

As a computer engineering student, I’m as skeptical about my browser as any one. But, as a class assignment, my friends and I conducted studies of mozilla and ie7 side by side and mozilla didn’t win. As a matter of fact ie7 came out in front by quite a bit including on the machines of the already determined mozilla users. Check out symantecs internet security report, and you’ll see the blessed mozilla isn’t so wonderful at all.
