Is there music note component….

Hi, I want to write an application that I need controls about music note(Do,Re,...Si)and showing the graphical of every note in application,is there such control for visual basic? Could you please help me? Thank you. -------- Regards Mahnaz

I do not think there is such a property or control for musical notes.

When I have to use graphics on a control I turn the graphical property on and I create my graphic in paint. Then I apply it as an image on the control.

    Tyhe only control I have come across is the one available at the following link: http://www.musiker.nu/thescore/html/other_software.html It is $150 and is an ActiveX control, but it would probably do everything you need and would be much faster than trying to rewrite similar functionality yourself. For $150, that's pretty good.

    I looked at the package suggested and if your goal is to get something done... that is probably the way to go. IF, however, your goal is to learn how to do it along the way and timing isn't critical, then using a music font to just type on a control is a good way to go. Check out http://www.mu.qub.ac.uk/~tomita/bach-mf.html for a tremendous package.
