Is there a reason why we shouldn’t use ESXi?

One part of our company has 3 identical DL380 G5 servers. One of them is running VMware with one VM on it.

We've started the process of migrating them over to be running ESXi. Two of the physical machines will have %99.99 of the time exactly 1 VM (the others will have two).

The major advantage we're getting with this is Disaster Recovery ability and support to the servers. But is there a reason why we shouldn't go through with ESXi (even if the hardware supports it)?

Let me know if you need any more clarification on this question. Thanks for the help!
