Is it possible to use a different version of the OM hierarchy for Travel Management's workflow approval process from the OM hierarchy used to establish budget structures for the SAP Enterprise Compensation Management workflow? The problem is HR requires the organization accept an OM hierarchy freeze (~50 days) while it prepares for and executes the annual Compensation program. The actual period that Managers have to enter compensation changes into MSS is three weeks. HR takes a subsequent two weeks to handle changes. In the meantime, the organization backlogs organizational changes including Travel Expense approvals which causes multiple problems. How can HR reduce the freeze period for OM hierarchy changes? HR does not use "Deleting Assignment of a Budget or Organizational Unit" or "Budget Reassignment" functionality in SAP.
