I work for a small business and we have had all 7 of our computers infected with one of the lateset bootkits. We've had several local companies try to clean them and fail. We bought two new computers and they got infected as soon as they were put online. Whatever this thing is, it takes over every app and every piece of hardware. It will not allow you to flash the bios or use any of the TDSS removal tools. Is the answer to just burn all the hardware and get a different IP?
Software/Hardware used:
Dell and Lenovo machines with XP Pro 32k * & Windows 7 Pro 64k

“bopotkit threats“, sorry I never heard about that, but probably, it might be bootkit / rootkit…..However I think NO ! there is still a way to remove this kind of malware without format / delete anything. Though u have tried TDSS removal tool, but which one that u did n’t mention…. also have u followed the proper guidance to overcome this issue. My request is to try with kasp removal tool and another suggestion from MS ref. If u have start up issue, plz look here. Another way to remove this one by using cmd line and it is the best to do the task(my opinion). Hope u will definitely overcome.
